I would like to extend a huge thank you to Graham, Aiden, Wayne and Stu for all the work they have done on Esquire over the last week. Graham made up a new main halyard to replace the old worn out one and Aiden and Wayne installed it on Friday. It now runs back to the cockpit using blocks. Graham has ordered a new clutch/cleat set which will be installed later on the starboard side. They also replaced the lines on the boom vang and the traveler, which were worn out. Wayne replaced the line on the backstay and installed blocks and line to improve the control on the main outhaul. Stu spent a few very cold hours laying in the bottom of Esquire repairing her broken steering components. He removed, ordered and reinstalled any parts that were broken or worn out.
